About

Australian born and educated with a background in architecture and interior design, I paint in
mixed media on paper, attempting to discover the essence of things through movement,colour,
texture and light, using the natural world and built environment as reference.

Memory plays an important part in the process, which is based on building up a series of layers of paint in a partly controlled way, constantly being changed and edited as the work evolves.

I tend to produce a series of paintings for one annual solo exhibition, having concentrated on south east open studios in Kent for the past five years, as well as other group exhibitions.
